Rockvale Ruritan Club - Facility Rentals

A room that will accommodate meetings, receptions or other social events is available for rent. There is a kitchen area with stove, microwave, refrigerator and sink. The meeting room has a maximim occupancy of 28. A gymnasium with a middel-school size basketball court and baseball batting cage is also available for rent.

DO NOT SUBMIT RENTAL DOCUMENTATION AND MONEY UNTIL YOU HAVE TALKED TO A RURITAN CLUB LEADER; SEE THE CONTACT LIST. WE NEED TO ENSURE THE FACILITY IS AVAILABLE ON YOUR REQUESTED USE DATE AND YOUR RENTAL REQUEST/EVENT MEETS THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FACILITY USE. DUE TO THE FACILITY BEING MANAGED BY VOLUNTEERS, RENTAL REQUESTS MUST BE RECEIVED 48 HR. MINIMUM IN ADVANCE OF THE REQUESTED RENTAL DATE.

Rental Cost and Procedure for Renting Rockvale Community Center

Rental Fees:

Kitchen and Dining Area = $40 Hr. Accommodates up to 28 people and has central HVAC system.
Gym = $40 Hr. Note: No AC, Fans Only.
Both Kitchen/Dining Area and Gym (w/o Heat): $60 Hr.
Gym/Basketball Court: $30/Hr. with 10 or More Rental Date Commitments
Heater use in Gym: Additional $20 Hr. with prior approval by the Rockvale Ruritan Club
Baseball Field: $60 for 2 Hrs. on Weeknights and After 5pm Weekends; $50 for 2 Hrs. with 10 Rental Commitments.
Baseball Field: $20 /Hr. Saturday and Sunday; No Lights
Gym/Batting Cage: $60 for 2 Hrs.; $50 for 2 Hrs. with 10 Rental Commitments
Security Deposit = $100 (Refundable) for Meeting Room, Pavilions, and Gym Rentals; Not Required for Ballfield

The facility is rented on a first-come basis

If the desired area is available on the date and time you want to rent and after talking to the Ruritan Club contact, download the following pdf rental documents, print, complete, and submitt via placing in drop box located next to the community center entrance door or mail. Notify Ruritan Club contact before dropping off required documents and prepayment. Submit the completed rental documents and the required rental fee payment plus security deposit by placing the Facility Rental dropbox or mail. Call one of the following Rockvale Ruritan Club members as soon as possible to make the Ruritan Club aware of your submission: Eddie Macon (615) 542-1911, or Nate Harding (615) 394-3985. You will be contacted by the Rockvale Ruritan Club in advance of your rental date to arrange access to the facility keys for the facility access.
After use of the facility and the front door locked, return the facility key(s) by placing the key(s) in the key lockbox located on the wall to the right of the main entrance glass door to the Rockvale Community Center. Failure to return the key(s) can constitute forfeiting the $100 security deposit and incurring possible extra charges for re-keying the facility.
The $100 Security Deposit will not be refunded if the rented area has not been properly cleaned after your activity; see Rental Contract for details. A security deposit is not required for Baseball Field reservation/rental.
